All four 71 416 inch screws and the plate must be completely out to remove the front. Remove the 7 16 inch window adjustment nuts at the front and rear of the glass. Corvette central part 283035 makes this job easier. It is not easy.

However it is designed this way so that it will fit both 1953 1957 and 1958 1959. 1968 1982 corvette window regulator roller rebuild. This plate with four 71 416 inch hex head screws connects the front window vertical guide track to the door. Used on 1969l 82 door glass it takes some of the fear out of removing the special nut.
