Spray painting is an easy way of achieving a smooth even finish on wood furniture this is especially true of items that have intricate designs.

I d love to update it with fresh paint and new hardware but i ve heard that you can t get good results painting over stain. Plus the paint in a can of spray paint is thinned down so that it will spray nicely through the small nozzle so in the end it may not be as durable as a full strength paint and it may not cover well.
